Course Reserves Materials

McMillen Library provides course-reserve services to support the teaching and learning of Indiana Tech. The Course Reserve Collection houses materials such as books, textbooks, DVDs/CDs, articles, etc., that an instructor has selected for use by students enrolled in a specific course. The purpose of the Course Reserve Collection is to provide quick access to course-related materials for intensive student use.

Please fill out the Online Course Reserves form to add materials to the Library’s Course Reserves for students to use in the Library. Personal or library owned materials can be placed on reserve. Once the form has been completed and the materials going on reserve have been collected, all materials will be processed and added to the Course Reserve Collection. Please note that personal items may be marked or tagged with library ownership indicators to prevent loss or theft. Personal items may also retain damage due to use. Faculty may ask library staff to remove or add course reserve materials at any time. Department or personally owned course reserve materials not retrieved by the faculty member at the end of the time frame specified on the course reserve form will be returned to the faculty member via campus mail.
